Project Overall Dress saved by Hubby!

I decided today to try a new adventure!

I took a pair of overalls and extra fabric and made this dress for my niece. However half way thru it- my thread kept breaking and I was about to lose my mind trying to figure out what was wrong. My husband came home from work and asked what was wrong. I told him the problem and he asked " Do you need to use a different needle for the heavier material?" Um- yeah! So kuddos to him for saving the day!

I will probably make a hairbow and a shirt to match this also.
