It has been a long day between Christmas parties at school , watching neighbor kids, son getting sick at Chick Fil A, and my puppy tearing up the house. I did not get as much sewing done as I would have liked ;however I did get to make one of the Cars books that I bought at Joann's the other day. My 6 year old son is peeking over the counter showing his reindeer antlers.
It is not complicated at all (just cutting and sewing a straight line) but would probably go quicker with a rotary blade. I may go tomorrow and pick one up at Joann's with the 50% off coupon.
Anyways- but at the end of a long hard day , I must remember:
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense." –– Ralph Waldo Emerson

I hope your son is feeling ok. Cute picture with the reindeer antlers on. Thanks for the quote-it's good for us all to read-I think alot of us are too hard on ourselves.
Sorry you had such a long day! Hope your son is feeling better!
Thanks for the quote!
I think that is the sweetest picture seeing those little antlers sticking out. I always say that nothing makes you remember how good life is until you see paper cut-out creations from children! Just seeing that always makes me smile for some reason. :)
Cute book!!!!
