I did not have the most productive weekend - but one of my birdhouses is ready to be grouted- so almost done there. Yeah!
I went to Joann's last week and found some cute wood frames for $1.99 that I can either do the mosiac broken plates on or print off photos and decoupage around the edges. I hope to get those done in the next day or so. I will put up photos once they are done.
Anyways- back to the reason for my post!! I used the boys tie pattern at youcanmakethis.com and completed one boys tie in a very short time. It really was very easy to follow and now that I have completed one- it should go much quicker. Highly recommend this pattern if you need boys gifts. Here is photo of one tie - I plan on making more.

That's awesome, Melissa! Yes, I agree with you- after doing the first one, it's going to be much faster now! I made those for my nephews last year at Christmas time. It's a great gift!
I need to get that pattern now that I have a boy. Cute tie!! Can't wait to see your birdhouse.
