Revamping those old Jeans!

Ever have a great pair of jeans and you get a spot on them that just will not come off? Try a paint spot- forget ever getting that off!

Well- do we just toss that jeans in the Goodwill bin or only wear when we are doing house work?
No!! Save them !
Check out Joann's , Walmart, Hobby Lobby, or your favorite fabric /craft store for the iron on applique.
This set was only $4.99 each and that was
without my coupon that was sitting on the front seat of the car!! ARGH!

The instructions say to just apply heat for about 30 seconds and iron on.

I added one to the lovely paint spot on the upper pocket and then one on the other leg halfway done. However- I went a step further and stitched a single black line thru-out the whole design just to make sure it was nice and secure.
Now I a cool pair of Embellished jeans that would cost a fortune at the store. I have seen embellished jeans sell from $40 and up.
The whole project took about 10 minutes and now my jeans have a new life!

What a great way to save those jeans- what do you do for one that has a whole in the knee? Just one- tiny hole- and I love those jeans!

Great job!

It is so fun to see what you can do with things you already have!

Thanks for another great idea!! I feel with you on leaving the coupon in the car-BTDT. I've even forgotten to use a coupon when it's in my pocket! Thanks for the wonderful projects on your blog.

Aren't the comfy jeans the ones that something always happens to? I've painted, ironed on, appliqued, embroidered, add trim to, etc. just to keep the kids happy in theirs. I just wear mine. I figure people will look at me and say, "she's too old to care what she looks like"--and honestly I don't care a lot of times what others think, just what I think!
